Analysts are now expecting Q1 to have been the trough, q2 to show economic improvement: Not good for the Fed, creating a battle between what the Fed wants and what the markets are thinking. It's important to note the significance of oil price averages, and the deviation from the 200MDA: Price highs and lows are required to create an average: Oil prices are a function of supply and demand; recessions result in decreased demand.
