(7/18/23) Markets have been trending upward on all three moving averages, 20-DMA, 50-DMA, and 100-DMA. When they're all in agreement, that's confirmation of a bullish market. And with the gap spread in these moving averages, there is broad support for markets. That being said, a 3- 5% corrective pullback should be expected at some point; all of these averages would suggest upside to prices is somewhat limited at this point. This would be a good time to take a look at rebalancing risk in portfolios. We are beginning to see some decent rotation into other areas of the market, particularly in the small- and mid-cap space. We're anticipating some pullback to occur in the seasonally-weaker months of Summer, late July and August.
