(7/25/23) All moving averages are now sloping higher, putting a very bullish perspective on markets (the slope of a moving average is what tells you the trend of the market). However, deviations from these moving averages are extreme, so a correction is inevitable; but we don't expect to see that until after earnings reporting has concluded. Interestingly, stocks for companies that are beating estimates are not being rewarded, generally. This would indicate that what is now happening in the market has already been priced-in. Regardless, the deviations from the averages are unsustainable over time, and a correction will happen.
