(7/5/23) markets are back up to 52-week highs, and analysts expect we'll tough all-time highs by the end of the year. There are myriad levels of support throughout the market to keep it in a bullish trend until year's end. None of this sets aside the fact that we could still have a 3- to 5% correction this summer. In fact, such a correction SHOULD be expected, as that is normal during any given year. That event would create a much better opportunity on a risk/reward basis to put capital back to work. Meanwhile, economic data continues to read weaker, with manufacturing data released on Monday pointing to anemic activity. So who's right?
