(10/5/23) Markets continued to sell off Wednesday, now flirting with the 200-DMA. This is a key support level for markets for myriad reasons: Stocks need to firm up at this level if we're going to get a year-end rally. Historically, and statistically, the odds of such a rally following a weak September are pretty good. However, if we break below that level, the next support will be at 4,000on the S&P. So there certainly is some downside risk.
