(12/21/23) Markets had come so much so far from September, that a correction, in the form of Wednesday's sell-off, was completed anticipated and long-overdue. What caused the sell-off? Who knows? Sometimes, you don't need a reason any more than someone saying, 'That's it; I'm out,' and the stapeded for the day ensues. An entire week's worth of gains was wiped out in under two hours: Gone in 120-minutes (which is shorter than the movie!) There's no real risk here; just a healthy correction that was needed.
