Money market accounts are in high-demand. Yield curves suggest Recession is still to come. The economy is based on debt: New Debt and Old Debt. Jerome Powell says more rate hikes to come. The Yankee's perfect games (4): all pitchers' names begin with "D." Who's right: Markets or the Fed? Debt generates growth; banks' customer base enables loan-making. Debt to GDP ratios now at 4x. Yield Curve un-inversion is what matters. Recessions typically follow 16-months after yield curve inversion; it's been only 12. The Fed doesn't want to raise rates but is happy to keep them where they are. The Death of the Dollar? Collapse of diamond prices and decline in Gold.
