Markets initially responded with disappointment to the Fed holding firm on interest rates, but did pull out a positive day by the end of Wednesday's session. Markets again bounced off support at the 50-DMA, testing and holding that level twice in the past few days. Markets are building support at the same time the 20-DMA is catching up to the 50-DMA, building a double layer of support just below where stocks are trading. Professional traders are currently under-weight or equally-weighted exposure to equities, which gives a lot of potential buying power entering the market. Markets are now building a nice consolidation range, and if they can break above resistance at the 200-DMA, will clear the way for markets to move higher.
