(3/29/23) Futures are pointing higher following the last few days' sloppy trading, holding onto support at the 20-DMA and 100-DMA. Despite the negative news headlines, markets have been doing exceptionally well. Price trends are moving higher, a buy signal has been triggered, but markets are not yet overbought. We're now looking for the markets to move above teh 50-DMA, whihc would provide the ability to test support at the previous topping process set last May at 4,100. Teh rerlative lack of news is allowing markets to rise. Markets continue to define a consolidation process that began at the peak of the market in January 2022. A break to the up- or downside will be driven by some kind of financial or economic event, in one direction of the other.
