Federal health insurance premiums to see another large spike in 2026

Federal employees and retirees are headed for yet another year of large increases to their health insurance premiums. The Office of Personnel Management's announcement of the 2026 premiums this week comes just a month ahead of this year's Open Season, but under a government shutdown, some Feds may be feeling more uncertain than usual.
