Daniel 3 If you missed last weeks episode, I highly recommend you go back and listen as these will build upon themselves. In today's story we hear king Nebuchadnezzar build a golden statue and demand that everyone must bow down to it. What will the consequence be if they don't? We may not be asked to bow down to a statue but we must be careful because we too can make other things more important than God.... Just as king Nebuchadnezzar wanted that statue to be more important than God. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego's faith shines brightly in this story. It's easy for us to say "God I'll worship you because you gave me exactly what I wanted today." It's a different feeling when we can say “God I really hope this or that will happen BUT even if it doesn't , I will still love you and worship you." That’s what they did! Even in one of their most frightening experiences, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had their Heavenly Father there with them.
