He is on the very short list of great American fiction writers and essayists who hunt and fish and speak for public lands and conservation as naturally as they breathe or write. This podcast was recorded at David's cabin near Little Canada, North Carolina, after a long hike in the Pisgah National Forest to scout new hunting country, in the good company of David's little feist dog, Edie Munster.
