Pat talks human flourishing from an Aristotelian-Thomistic point of view, and how by understanding what a human is, we can figure out how we ought to live -- what should be engaged in, prioritized, and so on -- to maximize not only the amount of happiness we have in life, but also the amount of good we do to others (hint: these are not mutually exclusive!).
