In September 2015 the brutalised bodies of British backpackers Hannah Witheridge and David Miller were found on the tropical island paradise of Koh Tao. The island off the coast of mainland Thailand, has long been a hotspot for partygoers lured in by the cheap alcohol, stunning beaches, and of course its infamous full moon parties. With the whole world watching, two suspects for the brutal murders were quickly found, but with 20% of the country's income at stake and a background of political unrest, the investigation was far from faultless.
