On August 8, 2014 28 year old Gable Tostee and 26 year old Warriena Wright met for a first date in Surfer’s Paradise on The Gold Coast. The pair had matched on Tinder - and the date was only ever meant to be a casual hook up, so they went straight to Tostee’s 14th floor flat. In the early hours of the following morning Warriena plunged to her death from Tostee’s balcony.
