On September 29, 1996, the Nintendo 64 launched in North America — a console that forever changed gaming. With the debut of Super Mario 64 and Pilotwings 64 , the system brought us true 3D worlds, the revolutionary analog stick, and the Rumble Pak that let us feel the action for the first time.
