Narrator: Male Story Begins: 4:10 Passing Time Excerpt: Ian was excited this morning. Today, Mike was coming over! Ian was excited to see his friend again. He got dressed and checked the clock in his room. Mike was coming over at 2 o’clock, but the clock showed it was only 9 o’clock. Ian sighed. It would be a long wait before Mike arrived. Ian wandered downstairs for breakfast. He prepared some food for himself, then sat down to eat. As he ate, he kept glancing at the clock. The first time he looked, it said 9:15. Then a little later, it said 9:25. Ian kept eating, and when he looked again, it said 9:30. He ate a little more and looked one last time. The clock said 9:32.
