Chip’s story centers on the night a Predator-like demon sat on his chest, crushed the breath out of him, pulled his spirit out of his body, and tried to choke out the name of Jesus before he could speak it. That attack was just one piece of a larger onslaught tied to his wife’s deepening occult involvement; Baphomet standing at the foot of the bed, hooded figures circling the room, and a briefcase-carrying Hat Man stalking him up the driveway. He even faced a dragon-sized entity whose breath tried to peel back his spiritual armor until the name of Jesus shattered it into nothing. Every manifestation pushed him closer to the truth: he wasn’t dealing with imagination, but with spirits hijacking a broken woman’s rituals to destroy him.
