When actress Noel Elie was diagnosed with Lyme disease, she decided not to rely on mainstream medicine but instead opted to utilize alternative treatment modalities, beginning with plant therapy. For Noel, her very first introduction to plant medicine through microdosing psilocybin and ayahuasca served as an amazing gateway into her journey toward holistic healing. "I don't look at it as being defiant ; I look at it as being curious ," says Noel, speaking on her decision to look the other way despite her doctors' advice at the outset of her diagnosis.
