Welcome to episode 353 of Sexology Podcast! Today I am delighted to be speaking with Dr. Eric FitzMedrud . Dr. Eric FitzMedrud hails from Minneapolis, where his formative years were enriched by the diversity that sparked his passion for issues of inclusivity. Following his high school years, he embarked on a transformative journey to India as part of the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program. In Colorado, where he pursued his college education, he encountered the love of his life, his future wife. His horizons expanded further during his college years when he embarked on a Semester at Sea, offering him a broader perspective on the world. Dr. FitzMedrud's path to becoming a licensed psychologist (PSY23669) evolved from a scholarly interest in spirituality and human development during his undergraduate Religious Studies studies. He later shifted his focus to one-on-one work, completing prerequisite courses at Loyola University in Chicago for a year and ultimately earning his Clinical Psychology Ph.D. in 2008. Passionate about his profession, Dr. FitzMedrud derives immense satisfaction from the meaningful and impactful work he does, helping others lead more purposeful and connected lives.
