In 2009 Mark Stover’s professional life was thriving. He owned a successful dog-training business, he worked for famous clients, and he was known as “The dog whisperer of the pacific northwest.” At the same time, his personal life was falling apart. A divorce, a stalking conviction, and an obsession with finding his old wedding photos led him down a dark path. Mark stalked, harassed, and threatened his ex-wife. She feared for her life, but in a shocking turn of events, Mark was murdered. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the strange and baffling murder of Mark Stover. There's no doubt that Mark's ex-wife Linda Opdycke was afraid of him. She started taking self-defense classes, purchased a number of firearms, and took her concerns to the Sheriff. Then, she met a man named Michiel Oakes and the two fell in love. Michiel Oakes shot and killed Mark Stover, but, the reason that he did it was at issue.
