About this episode
Detroit Lions outlast Arizona Cardinals in NFL Week 3 action earning 20-13 road win at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Detroit Lions defense played stout all game long keeping Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray under duress. Lions running back David Montgomery was a work-horse on the ground with over 100 yards rushing. Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff threw for two touchdowns – one to Amon Ra St. Brown and one to Jahmyr Gibbs. Jared Goff also ran for a crucial first down on the Lions game-winning drive. Aidan Hutchinson was pressuring Kyler Murray all game long and eventually recorded his first sack of the game in the fourth quarter. In the end, it was the Lions Defense suffocating the Cardinals Offense with the Lions offense scoring early and eventually sealing the win with a long drive to milk the clock. Detroit Lions move to 2-1 and are 9-0 after a loss since 2022. Detroit Lions will face Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football in NFL Week 4.
