The Lions have started to whittle down their roster today and there was one surprising early cut: Dan Skipper. The veteran Tackle released by the team today. Now there is a chance that this is just roster gymnastics and he will be back. Skipper had been Tackle 3 on this team the last few years. Does this mean more opportunity for Gio Manu or Jamarco Jones? We will find out. Jackson Meeks is another guy who has been cut.
