Jalen Duren added a noteworthy performance with 12 points and led the Pistons in rebounds with 15. The Pistons struggled from the field, shooting 38.9%, and were unable to contain Darius Garland, who led the Cavaliers with 22 points and 7 assists. Jarrett Allen was a force in the paint for the Cavaliers, contributing 15 points and 11 rebounds. In the end, the Pistons fell 91-110 as the Cavaliers maintained control throughout the game, outpacing Detroit in rebounds and assists, ultimately sealing their victory in this regular-season matchup.
