The Miami Dolphins blew a 17-0 lead, the Carolina Panthers dominated both sides of the line of scrimmage, and Miami fell to 1-4 in what was easily their worst loss of the season so far, 27-24 in Charlotte. The Dolphins had the ball with 1:54 left and all 3 timeouts left, but 2 incompletions and a sack forced a punt, and the Panthers ran it out. Bryce Young hit Mitchell Evans with a 4-yard touchdown pass with 1:59 left- right after Miami had retaken the lead by scoring for the 1st time since the 2nd quarter. Tua Tagovailoa hit Jaylen Waddle with a 46-yard touchdown pass with 4:30 left in the 4th quarter, the defense stepped up with a big stop late, and the Miami Dolphins The Dolphins came out red-hot, scoring in their 1st 3 drives and forcing 2 turnovers in the 1st half while jumping out to a 17-0 lead. Miami couldn’t get anything going from the 2nd through past the midway point of the 4th quarter, as the Panthers stuffed their run game and contained their short passing attack.
