The big recruiting weekend is over for Nebraska football…what did Sip learn about how it went? / Everyone loves the NCAA Tournament, but are we OK when it doesn’t really crown the best team in the country?

-Dylan Raiola was the biggest name of the weekend in Lincoln, but players like RB Nate Frazier (top RB in California); OT Brandon Baker (top OT in country per On3); and many more were on campus. -What was the general consensus of their visits? -It is vital to bring in big offensive lineman and defensive lineman/pass rushers! -Is it cooler to be the best player in the history of a state or the player of the year in a big city like Chicago or New York? -One of San Diego State and FAU is going to be playing for the national championship. That’s a 5-seed and a 9-seed; and on the other side, it’s either a 4-seed in UConn or a 5-seed (Miami)/2-seed (Texas). -Are we going to be able to say that one of those 4 is the best team in college basketball when all is said and done? UConn looks the part, but they were a 4-seed….not in the top 12 teams in the bracket. -How is viewership affected when lower seeds are in the Final Four? -De'Aaron Fox says bad coaching, bad officiating and average shot-making are reasons he can't sit down and watch a whole college basketball game.
