Kyle Whittingham is still the head coach at Utah---but when he eventually retires, his successor is already known

-Utah announced yesterday that defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley will be the head coach-in-waiting for the Utes, and will make $5 million per year when that happens (he makes $2 million per year now) -Whittingham is entering his 20 th season as Utah’s head coach, and is 65 years old. Scalley was already once the head coach-in-waiting prior, but was rescinded after an external investigation due to the use of a racial slur in a text message….back to our conversation about head coach in waiting…..
