Is it fair to laud a coach (Dan Campbell) for his aggressive nature all year long, and then attack him when it doesn’t work out?

-Dan Campbell’s Detroit Lions went for it on 4 th down A TON this season, and continued doing so in the NFC title game, ultimately backfiring on them in the 2 nd half -Campbell received so much praise for the way he operated his team this year…is it right for people to do a 180 on that since it didn’t work when it needed to most in the playoffs?
