You thought Kirk was close to retiring? Not so fast. Ferentz is 66 years old and this would put him at 73 years old at the completion of the contract...and 30 years as the Hawkeyes coach. 30!! In today's day and age! Kirk and the Hawkeyes have beaten Nebraska 7 straight times.
