Nebraska’s offense sputters without Casey Thompson, and Illinois walks away with a 26-9 triumph on Saturday

-Nebraska had a 9-6 lead at one point, and it was all downhill from there. The Huskers had a big dropped pass from Rahmir Johnson that could have put them in scoring range with that lead, and then it all fell apart, as Tommy Devito made few mistakes and so did Illinois in general -Thompson got hurt late in the 2nd quarter with a wrist injury and never returned---Nebraska went to Logan Smothers to end the 1st half, but went to Chubba Purdy the whole 2nd half, which resulted in very little positive results -We knew Thompson was due for an injury, and it happened---are they THAT bad at QB behind him for the offense to look that inept?
