Is there an argument that this year’s Nebrasketball team is better than last year’s team?

-Nebraska was a comfortable tournament team last year with a 23-11 record and an 8-seed in the Dance -This year’s team is 17-9 and might end up with more losses but already has more Quad 1 wins than last year (4 last year…6 this year with several opportunities left)…no Rienk Mast or Keisei Tominaga is unfortunate but is there an argument to be had about them being better?
