908: Junshen Wang is originally from Taiwan where he studied to be, and had a career as a mechanical engineer. After retirement, he, like many of us, fell in love with flyfishing and golf. As an engineer, he recognized that the golf swing and flyrod’s casting bore the same attributes that govern Newton’s Laws of Motion. So he had questions that he was determined to answer like: What is the crucial factor for the ball’s distance? What is the formula that determines Smash Factor, and why? Will a heavy golf club influence how far the ball goes?
