About this episode
487: The Pascua Yaqui Tribe knew they wanted to work within the topography of the high sonoran desert to honor its natural gifts and wonders when it came to designing a golf course. They hired former PGA Tour player and fellow native american, Notah Begay to design the Sewailo Golf Course at the Casino Del Sol Resort in Tucson, AZ. This challenging course measures 7,400 yards from the championship tees, with 5 different tee boxes on each hole to allow for players of all abilities. This week host Fred Greene travels to Tucson to discover what else the state has to offer beyond golf in Scottsdale, and he sits down with Head Golf Professional Spencer Cody to discuss this Troon managed gem. Spencer's closing tip to help with your putting distance control is also a video available at http://YouTube.com/GolfSmarterTV If you have a question about whether or not Fred is using any of the methods, equipment or apps we’ve discussed, or if you’d like to share a comment about what you’ve heard in this or any other episode, please write because Fred will get back to you.
