And that's exactly the position the Reds find themselves in after drawing 1-1 at home to Leicester City. However, there was no escaping the feeling that it was a missed opportunity to truly take advantage of Manchester City’s shock defeat at Newcastle the night before. Saying that, Liverpool weren’t helped by the conditions, the referee and a strangely nervous and makeshift back four.
