About this episode
The Allez Les Rouges boys are back in Blighty after recording their last brilliant podcast in Munich with host Peter Hooton joined by Ste Monaghan, John Nicolson and Dan Kay at the ECHO's recording studio. The show kicks off with a quick debrief of the dreaded international break, which mainly consisted of the lads praying for the well-being of the Liverpool players in action for their countries, before talk turns to this weekend's fixtures, which start Manchester City's trip to Fulham on Saturday and end with the Reds' visit of Tottenham to Anfield the following afternoon. On paper, it looks like Jurgen Klopp's side have the harder match, but the panel offer opinions to the contrary, which is backed up by a very encouraging stat from Peter. Mohamed Salah will go into the Spurs game on the back of a barren goalscoring run but there are no such fears over the striker's form here. And neither are there over the possibility of it being a trophyless season. That said, John in particular, has concerns over the referee on Sunday. There's also debate on the midfield line-up, which players will make the biggest impact off the bench, the Champions League quarter-final draw, and an explanation as to why if Liverpool are to drop points between now and the end of the campaign, it cannot be in the next three matches. And another must-listen pod rounds off with a tribute to a Reds fan taken far too young. For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices.
