The narrative surrounding Liverpool and the big difference between this season and 2013-14

One point clear at the top with 11 games of what could be a historic Premier League season left to play. As Jurgen Klopp said at his press conference on Tuesday, this is ‘pure opportunity’ for his Liverpool side. But you would have been forgiven for thinking the Reds have bottled their chances of landing a first title since 1990 judging by the reaction in some quarters to Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United.
