The summer signing Liverpool dodged a bullet with - and the dressing room problems that could help the Reds

As disappointing as the defeat to Red Star in midweek was for Liverpool, it still has to be placed into context. After all, their Champions League destiny remains in their own hands, and should they win at home to Fulham on Sunday they would go back to the top of the Premier League, for a couple of hours at least. But positives are hard to come by for this weekend’s visitors Fulham. Last season’s Championship play-off winners are rock bottom after losing their last five league matches and, with many of their summer signings failing to perform, the pressure is building on manager Slavisa Jokanovic.
