About this episode
Today on the podcast, we have Alexi Papas on the show. WOW, is this long overdue or what?!? She’s an Olympian and an award winning filmmaker. She has a book called Bravey, which I’m sure many of you have read. That was forwarded by Maya Rudolph. She also has recently adapted that book for Young Readers as well. It’s called Bravey (Adapted for Young Readers), forwarded by Maya Hawk. She co-wrote, co-directed and starred in the feature films Track Town and Olympic Dreams and has worked alongside the likes of Rachel Dratch and Nick Kroll. Since this was her first time on my podcast, we talked about what she’s up to now. She’s got a new podcast coming out called Mentor Buffet and we dove into what that’s all about and her inspiration behind it. We also go into her story a little bit as well as we tried to pack it all into our hour long interview and it was really fun. I really, really enjoyed this episode and I’m excited for you all to listen in!
