Chari Hawkins is a heptathlete for Team USA. In the heptathlon, there are 7 events in the competition: hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200m run, long jump, javelin, and the 800m. Chari explains all of that in this conversation as well as how she got into the heptathlon. She went to Utah State University, she is a 2x USA Bronze medalist, and she competed in Doha for the 2019 World Championships. In this episode, she shares about mental health, anxiety, and how she has worked really hard to overcome race day anxiety.
