Jordan: Hi dr Cabral first off I've been listening to your podcast for a year now and I want to thank you for all the amazing information you give. I've been dealing with signs of Candida overgrowth for quite some time now but everything has gotten drastically bad recently. I was on your 7 day detox but after day 5 I developed a dry rash patch on my eye and servere dandruff. Not sure if that was any effort to the detox or if you think it could be? I have always had quite dry skin and dandruff however I have now developed eczema like rashes on my eye lids of both eyes, dandruff, severe acne on my back (however I don't get acne normally), I have had on going yeast infections for years, slight white coating on my tongue. I feel as if this all points to signs of yeast overgrowth . I ordered the CBO protocol a couple months ago to hopefully tackle my yeast infections. But I'm curious to know if this is the right route to go ? I'm a university student in Canada so lab tests are quite pricey to order unfortunately. I have seen 2 functional /Chinese acupuncturist with no help with my digestive issues. I can't began to tell the amount of money wasted on visits and supplements with no help. I have Lupus and I was tested for Candida and SIBO which both were positive. I have done elimination diets which suck and don't wont work. Also I even took a allergy test for foods. I eat healthy and what I am suppose to eat but I am a worrier and I do stress and I'm anxious about. So I'm sure that contributes to my issues as well. I recall a podcast you had with Dr. Belisa with regard to proper breathing technique. If I am not mistaken I believe you recommend a 5 second inhale and a longer exhale. Despite my best efforts I can not make the 5 second inhale. It has to be really forced and I get overwhelmed. Most I get is around 3.5 second on inhale. The exhalation is no issue. Is this a problem that can affect me or am I overthinking it? Does everyone have different lung capacity so some fill up quicker or something? If not, any advice with regard to this will be most appreciated. I tried the single nostril breathing too and dunno if that's helping. I'm a vata pitta type, fit. As always keep up great work.
