I typically just eat half an avocado. Is this an avocado allergy? I remember experiencing something similar after eating bananas, this hasn't happened in a long time though. Do I keep eating avocados? I mainly eat them because of all their health benefits and because they are delicious. What else might this reaction in my throat tell me? Thank you! Heather: Hi there! I searched the podcast archives and couldn't find any episodes on the topic. Personally, I wanted to write in & ask if you have any feedback regarding FACTOR V. I was diagnosed after my Mom's diagnosis (she had pulmonary embolisms after a long elective surgery) but she went two pregnancies, c-sections and other surgeries without knowing until this happened in her 50's. Now I am family planning & my OBGYN said i will need to take a baby aspirin daily while pregnant or heprin injections. This is very scary to me considering I do not take any medications, any information on this condition and especially alternative supplements would be greatly appreciated! Anonymous: Hi, dr. C I had the flu in January and I was feeling run down for 3 weeks later still (I have fibromyalgia so everything seems to last longer for me, is it to do with mitochondria and ATP?), last 3 months I also have tinnitus & it's getting worse, can you help me with that, please? Now I had flu-like symptoms again for 1 day and sore throat & coughing up mucus for a week. Yesterday I went to sleep earlier because my body just felt so tired & I slept for almost 12h! Oura says it was 11h 48min & although there's 3h 18min of REM, there's only 1h 36min of deep sleep & a lot of it at the end, so if I slept a normal 8h, it would be much less. Usually I almost never get 90min of deep sleep. Why am I getting so little deep sleep & how to make it better?
