What are your thoughts on frenectomies? My dentist said I have a tongue tie and could benefit from the procedure. He said it's potentially the cause for some of my "mystery headaches" and neck tension. Thoughts? I'd just love to hear your input on this procedure in general.Thanks!Lillian Rodney: I am B+ blood type and I am on a 2 week cleanse, I did a 1 week cleanse before and I really like to eat Chick Peas but according to my blood type the book "eat right by your blood type" does not recommend to eat these. Can you explain why this is a problem and recommend a substitute if necessary. Simon: Hi Stephen. Does blending smoothies containing lots of fresh fruit and vegetable (with a Nutri-Bullet in my case) a few of hours before I drink them reduce the nutritional value and/or increase oxidation (note i do keep them refrigerated)? I have also heard that cut fruit and vegetables quickly lose their 'nutritional value'. What is your take on this? Thanks! Yvonne: I've been told that, since I have autoimmune, my immune system is overactive and shouldn't be taking anything that is considered an immune booster such as vitamin C and zinc as that will make it worse. If this is true, how do I know which things boost the immune system and what things can I take to calm/balance the immune system so I can then take vitamin C? Michelle: I just watched Dark Waters and wanted to know if you have any information on using Teflon pans now. Are they safe? I also wondered your thoughts on water filtration. I know you've mentioned reverse osmosis, but do you recommend that we test our water first? I also heard that reverse osmosis is good for some things, but not all. How come your toxic test does not look for PFOA? What other cooking products do we need to be concerned about?
