There was a controversial moment early in the first half when Newcastle’s Nick Pope avoided giving away a penalty which would have also seen him receive a red card. Hasselbaink said the goalkeeper was ‘extremely lucky’ to get away with the decision and did not understand why VAR did not intervene. There is also reaction from Newcastle captain Kieran Trippier and man of the match Alexander Isak.
