He served as chief resident at Brigham & Women's Hospital at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lipman was awarded the Vascular & Interventional Radiology Fellowship at Yale New-Haven hospital, at the Yale School of Medicine, the Fellowship of Society of Interventional Radiology and the Fellowship in American College of Radiology. His current academic appointment is as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Morehouse School of Medicine.
