Locked On Celtics POSTCAST- Jayson Tatum Suffers Sprained Ankle As Celtics Win 6th In A Row

The Celtics (53-19) stayed perfect on their current 6-game road trip and ran their win streak to 6 in a row with Monday night's 113-95 win over the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Arena in Sacramento. Jayson Tatum left the game after hitting a free throw in the 3rd Quarter and he did not return. Tatum suffered a sprained left ankle after hitting a 3 and having Domantas Sabonis step into his landing area which resulted in the injury and a Flagrant 1 on Sabonis. Tatum did not return to the game. The Celtics earn a split of the season series with the Kings with Monday's victory. ----- Scoring Leaders: Tatum led the Celtics with 25 Points, 8 Assists and 7 Rebounds despite not playing in the 4th Quarter. Payton Pritchard hit 5 3's and scored 22. Luke Kornet added 13 Points and 8 Rebounds off the Bench. Kristaps Porzingis chipped in with 16 Points and 8 Boards. Jaylen Brown had 9 Points in his return to the lineup. ----- 3 Back & 2 Held Out: Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis all returned to the starting lineup Monday night against the Kings. Al Horford was held out on the 2nd game of a back-to-back and Sam Hauser also missed Monday's game with lower back stiffness. ----- #'s of the Night: With Monday night's win over the Kings, the Celtics are now 8-4 in the 2nd game of back-to-back's this season. The Celtics led by 10 going to the 4th Quarter. The Celtics have gone 13 straight games without trailing after 3 Quarters. Pritchard knocked down 3 3's and had 14 at the Half.
