About Michael Goldstein Our guest today, Michael Goldstein , of NearInfraredSauna.com is a Nutritionist and Owner and Founder of Long Life Near Infrared Saunas. He became interested in infrared sauna therapy in 2003 as a detoxification method for his clients. Initially, he constructed saunas for his clients, but in 2009, he decided to make saunas full time. His health philosophy centers around personal responsibility. It's simple, really. No one else can make you healthy. You have to do it yourself. It does not have to be complicated, but one does have to put in a conscious effort, especially in a society so full of negative influences. Regular near infrared sauna therapy detoxifies the body. It builds strength and immunity. And it grounds the nervous system in a way that no other sauna can. Best of all, it's passive. You are, indeed, just supposed to sit and do nothing when using the sauna. :) Why you need to detox Sweating is one of the best and only ways to get out many chemicals and heavy metals that are present in our bodies today. Industrial dumping and polluting have resulted in us harboring 700 chemicals on average in our bodies. Babies today are born with 70 chemicals on average in their little bodies. Common sense tells us that this cannot be good for us and will likely lead to health issues and disease.
